Review of “Fried Rice” and “Milly Badison” (Single Release, Nov 23rd, 2020)
Taking proper measure of their own sanity, Sweep Echo, an Emo/Alt Rock project based out of Mt Laurel, NJ, released their music video for a new single, “Fried Rice” on Halloween, 2020 and are releasing that track AND “Milly Badison” EVERYWHERE, on Nov 23rd, 2020!
Sure, 2020 has been a year unlike any other, but as long as you are taking precautions things can be halfway normal…as long as you’re still wearing a mask…right? That riddle was one which Sweep Echo put to the test, releasing a lyrically touching, yet eerily festive track for such a musically mellow piece. Amidst the trials this past year has put us all through globally, Sweep Echo ultimately highlights some of the best parts of a chill and genuine relationship with both significant other’s and friends, cherishing every moment they have in each other’s company:

Lay in bed and watch TV,
Play some Left 4 Dead and shoot some zombies,

when I’m spending my time with you..”

The title, “Milly Badison”, is an apparent play on the infamous Adam Sandler flick some of us know quite well, however, between these two songs, the message is quite clear: “Be kind to yourselves and cherish those you love”:
