“…It’s like you’re wasted, trapped in your head
Take a deep breath and start again
Faded, you’re trying to reset
Walking roads that lead to dead ends…
– Excerpt from “Dead Ends

Following their 2019 EP, ‘Cronus Complex , The Motion Below are back once again with what we feel is their cleanest, and most powerful sound to date with the brand new single “Dead Ends“. Showcasing the stunning cleans of Ryan Matheson  accented with the harsh vocals of Thomas Katgert, the dynamic of this track invigorates the mind and echoes the message to the listener’s very core – the video doing the exact same:

…(tells) the story of the protagonist struggling to free himself from the chains of addiction, wondering how he found himself sinking into a bleak existence and ultimately resigning himself to his fate and slipping into madness.

Acting as Part 1 of 2 in this saga, we are more than intrigued and looking ahead to both the musical prowess with which they will shock us with again, as well as the resolution to the story – what do you enjoy the most of this track? Let us know and share “Dead Ends” with your friends! – Nic
