As the nor’easter beared down on the east coast, things got a little dicey. The Palladium was originally supposed to hold the Taking Back Sunday / Thrice / Saves the Day tour outdoors but the weather had other ideas. Luckily, instead of cancelling outright, the show was moved inside to the DCU Center just up the street because the main room in the Palladium couldn’t handle the 3500+ attendees!
I had only worked a show at the DCU Center, a big arena right in downtown Worcester, once before shooting the Big Gig featuring Godsmack / Black Veil Brides / Wage War / Lilith Czar, so it was good to be back again for a stacked lineup!

Finally, Taking Back Sunday hit the stage and the whole room went nuts. Adam Lazzara and his signature stage presence took over the room and there was no shortage of jumping, bouncing, and crowd surfing. A lovely night of pop punk in the middle of a nor’easter is a great way to spend a Saturday night.
