Channeling the feel-good sound of mainstream punk-rock/emo acts across the scene, The Maguas have officially debuted their latest single, “Will It Ever Be the Same” - latching onto a somber question which everyone seems to be asking throughout this current global crisis and pandemic: Will It Ever Be the Same?

For new listeners of The Maguas, the band sounds sonically very much like many feel-good early mid 2000s alternative acts, however the complimentary vocals are akin to older Rise Against (Ie: Paper Wings, Everchanging) with a very similar lyrical weight - pushing this young band into what one might classify as ‘emo’ territory. The musical similarities don’t last much beyond the first impression as although the somber aura stays, The Maguas carry their own blend of unique styles to craft a very humble presence in listener’s eardrums across their discography since 2018.
